Not only people, but many book publishing houses in Jaipur too have played a vital role in making the city a reading hub. Where five out of a hundred people in the city read before, now the number has reached twenty, making not only the city read but entire country. Of all the places in India, Rajasthan is visited maximum by people from around the world. This state of the Rajas and Maharajas has a rich heritage that people love to see. While its forts, wildlife, palaces, museums, lakes, temples, fairs and festivals are world renowned for a unique experience, art and culture which includes coffee table books printing is another thing gaining tourist affluence now. Best Birthday Gifts

Of all the things in the world, what every human loves is birthdays. Children are always excited and overjoyed about this beautiful celebration. When I was a child, I remember always looking forward to my birthday. And it was just for the gifts that I would ask my parents to organise a birthday party and invite all of my school friends and neighbors, even the ones who were new. A thought that they would come with presents for me had been a great pleasure for me! I secretly loved real life story books and loved receiving them as gifts from friends and relatives.   I also remember when once one of my best friends from school came at my birthday, he was holding a big carton. Wow! I was so happy to see such a big present in his hands, but when it was opened, it had nothing except a ball. Rest of that carton was filled with thermocol. I never invited that friend of mine ever again! Years gone by now, a couple of days ago my daughter came to me and asked if she could invite her sc

The Cinema of India: Synonym to Entertainment

Image
Of all the ways of entertainment, cinema is no doubt the best. Film is a language that the cinema-maker uses to express his emotions to the world. Cinemas started in the mid-19th century and spread throughout the world by the 20th century in Charlie Chaplin era of black and white silent films. In India too, the cinema began with silent film during the British Raj in the early 20th century. The first Indian film released in India was Shree Pundalik , a silent film in Marathi by Dadasaheb Torne on 18 May 1912 at Coronation Cinematograph, Bombay. And then there was no looking back. Today, the number of films produced and watched in India are far more than any other part of the world. That in India movies are made in over 20 languages is another milestone! People who have influenced the Indian film industry are mostly the Khans and Punjabi personalities . And with changing times, the Indian cinema has set its feet in many other parts of the world. As migration took place f
